Hi Everyone! Welcome to the 2024-2025 cycle for the Greater Fort Worth Dental Hygienists’ Association!

Our board is very excited for the upcoming year. We have many great continuing education courses and programs that will help educate and lead current and future generations of hygienists. We hope to meet all of you at a monthly meeting or a continuing education program!

Students and professionals, there are many opportunities in your organization, from the CE committee to board positions, hospitality and even to attend Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association’s Annual conference as a delegate! Please consider volunteering on your local components board. I’ve had many amazing opportunities on the board so far, and I would love for others to experience that as well. If you need assistance with membership or have questions on how you can volunteer with our component, please feel free to contact us through Facebook, Instagram, or Email.

One extraordinary member of the GFWDHA board had served many years, totaling 40 years. Cindy Crisler was the embodiment of the volunteering spirit. She knew everything there was to know about Greater Fort Worth’s component, and even served as TDHA president. Cindy’s witty sense of humor and encouragement made me more comfortable and confident when I first started as a board member in 2022. She will be dearly missed by all of us at Greater Fort Worth.

I am honored to serve as your president for this upcoming year. I want to give a shoutout to my fellow board members for all the hard work they have put in the last several months since the installation meeting; all of them are very kind, encouraging, and amazing individuals. We hope to make this year fun for everyone at our meetings! We are always open to ideas for current or future meetings, so let us know what we can do for you. We look forward to meeting you this fall and spring!
